Project:- Microbial load, Microflora and Quality of Pasteurized Milk

Description: Nutritionally, milk has been defined as “ the most nearly perfect food ”.

Milk is an outstanding source of calcium and phosphorus for bones and teeth, and

contains riboflavin, vitamin B6, A and B1 in significant amounts. The fluid or semi-fluid

nature of milk and its chemical composition (containing the essential nutrients) renders it

one of the ideal culture media for microbial growth and multiplication.
