P&ID Gateways was an Engineering design software of Aveva Solutions Ltd. (UK).

It was a family of gateways, through which different drawings (CAD) were processed.

I worked on various functionalities like hot spotting in the drawings, exporting different drawing layouts,

fixing bugs in the output xml, generating reports etc.

This is one of the most widely used Marine Engineering software across the world.

Igate Computers Ltd, British Petroleum and Information Hub Data Migration (UK)

Feb 2011 to Jan 2012, Software Engineer

It was a Data Migration Project for British Petroleum.

We designed a prototype to migrate the data and later executed it.

I worked in the design and implementation of various tools to extract data from MSSQL, XML's and

SharePoint Lists.

I was also part of the documentation team, which defined entire migration process.

It was an intelligent web solution to deal with Data and Documents.

I was a part of the development team. I worked on web pages, writing SQL queries, embedding them into the

code, certain other functionalities like Designing toolbar and Grid for the resulting data.

This web solution was implemented using Microsoft's MVC 2.0 Framework. So I had an exposure to MVC

Framework during this project.
