Technical Writer - Harnischfeger Corp. (1979-1985)
. Wrote Operation and Repair manuals for construction cranes.
. Did research, writing, layout, typing, took photographs, and specified

. Wrote Operation and Repair manuals for 350 ton maximum lift lattice
boom crane, mounted on crawlers. Crane has 750 c.i.d. engine, 300 feet
of main boom and 150 feet of jib boom. Three counterweights, 40 tons
each. Swing away cab, quick release slewing ring. Crane has three
large hydrostatic systems; Propel, Swing, and Boom Hoist. Crane has
torque converter with modulating clutch, which allows heavy loads to
be accurately controlled by clutch without excessively heating load
drum brakes.
. Wrote Operation and Repair manuals for 70 ton lattice boom crane.
