Worked in PRODUCTION VERIFICATION TESTING (PVT) team. PVT is a final opportunity to determine if the
software is ready for release. Its purpose is to simulate the production cutover as closely as possible and for a
period of time simulate real business activity.
Responsibilities:

QA Analyst
The New Business system is a intermediate system through which sold case information (consisting of groups,
accounts, products, plans, etc) will flow prior to being loaded into Genelco and the ODS database. Case
information will come from three sources: AMA, PAS and manual loads. For phase 1, only AMA cases will be
supported. Once the case is in New Business, Policy Issue has an opportunity to specify values for data
elements not available in the source systems (e.g. AMA) but needed for the downstream systems. Once the
required information is entered into the New Business application, the information is reviewed by Quality Review
and then can be fed into Genelco and the ODS.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzed the Business process specifications, Use cases, and User Interface specification
documents.
• Based on use cases, translated the information to test cases and test procedures.
• Created various User Defined Functions for script enhancements and to verify business logic.
• Cause and Effect spreadsheet was prepared based on the functionality of the application for easy

Worked in POS.com2 functional testing team. As part of the team tested the Point of Sale application - PDC2.
Worked on different test initiatives for PDC2 for different releases. PDC2 is a point of sale application used in
stores like Best Buy, Walmart, Sams club, Fry's etc. Using the PDC2 application retail stores can order the Cell
phone service for the customers. Submitted orders for PDC2 for testing purposes and validated the orders in the
back end system called Telegence.
Responsibilities:
• Working in AT&T POS.com II, which is a point of sale application and it is web based software. Cingular
dealers use this software to enroll new customers for Cingular/AT&T. Dealers can activate new
customers, make changes to existing customer accounts. POS.com II is a front end system. It accesses
the back end Telegence Systems.
