Heroux-Devtek - Springdale, OH - October 2007 to December 2012
Working with Unigraphics Software for fixture design along with CNC programming and writing processes on
new jobs, reviewing and updating in place processes. Active in machine trouble shooting.
Assigned to overlook the stator cell for G.E. Power. From raw material to first machine operations, through
weld,
FPI, and finishing machining process. Lead all welding qualifications. Perform on site qualifications for heat
treat and welding for sub contractors. Latest projects include wind power components and power generation
turbines.
Mechanical Engineer
Visteon Automotive, LLC - Connersville, IN - June 2000 to October 2007
Worked on new factory startup in Juarez Mexico. Trouble shooting machine installation.
Training production employee's on how to run machinery and perform preventive maintenance. Designing new
tooling fixtures and modifying some of the existing tooling fixtures. While working in the Evaporator department
improved welding equipment and tube joint equipment OEE from 89% to 95% resulting in $1.4 million per year
savings. Also worked as maintenance engineer trouble shooting and addressing machine issues, design work
on fixtures, and tooling.
Engineering Developmental Services- Designing, Developing and building prototypes from a concept to a
working
prototype. Done machining & welding on personal assigned projects.
Tool Room Supervisor- In charge of Tool Room, Weld crib, and cutter grind. Worked with progressive and
stamping dies, making and rebuilding fixtures, fin-mill trouble shooting, machine down time issues. Directed
employees to obtain ZERO lost time accidents!
