QA:

Created detailed test plans and monitored off shore testers, with 95% rate of P1 bugs caught on testing phase

Was the only tester who got the CEOs credit card to test billing, and found critical issues no one else found

Lead the QA methodology, mentoring the development team, resulting in fewer errors and better workflow

Due to my ability to read Java code, was able to investigate and find the root cause of many of the bugs

Web Development:

Developed the new flashissue.com homepage which has ~40% increase in signups (using Twitter Bootstrap)

Although new to web development, I coded and pushed to production several features (HTML, CSS, JQuery)

US – Bank of America fraud prevention project

Introduced using Soap UI for WS automation, improving test creation times, flexibilit y, and test reports.

my initiative to use Soap UI got such good results on the project it got adopted eventually by the entire

company for web service testing and replaced an older internal tool that was less flexible and harder to use

Israel – Solutions R&D QA

Improved overall quality by understanding the business requirements and finding bugs in the specs

Improved testing accuracy by automating test data creation to cover all possible test case combinations

Lowered the overall testing cycle times by better organizing the test documents and test environments

Using ETL automation with SSIS removed many manual and error prone steps in our testing process

Wrote complex Oracle SQL scripts that got high coverage rates (found most bugs) for a complex ETL project

Learned to better utilize test director and HP Quality Center and even taught my team useful tips and tricks

Organized the project and made it more maintainable, got a thank you email from my replacement after I left

Automated complex report creation using Oracle Discoverer that were previously done manually in Excel
