Motivation letter

After having 7 years of active experience in my country with software technologies and several years before these, after having finished successfully my Informatics university studies, I would like to meet a new professional challenge in France and to be useful with my profession to help for growth of your company and my further professional growth.

Led by the desire to learn all my life and stay up to date with the new technologies, I believe that being active in a modern software development company is one of the best ways to keep myself actual with the current industry standards.

While being an Actionscript developer for 6 years and more, I switched my main interests to Android (Java) in the past two years, for several reasons:

• Android gets more and more popular mobile platform among users;

• Java keeps being one of the mostly spread programming languages;

• Actionscript/Flex development is quite similar to Android/Eclipse development, so switching required me to learn the Android framework by keeping most of my way of work.

During my university studies and my work in parallel I found that commitment to best practices and standards in software development is crucial for extensibility and reliability of software projects and practice showed that good planning gives much more benefits. I am happy when I see that projects I’ve created, can be easily adapted to new agile requirements during time because of keeping code as clear as possible and using best practices for design and extensibility.

I am glad to have my clients/project owners happy after projects/milestones are completed. Feedback is important for me. Negative feedback, when present, is used to improve the product.

Based on my experience in the two companies I have worked during the last seven years and from the many freelance projects I have completed successfully, on the highly positive feedback about my job, on the successful collaboration with my colleagues/clients/QA/PMs for many years, I am sure that I can be much of help for your company as an Android/Java developer.
