Designed and analyzed materials strengths of a hanger casting by performing an FEA analysis through ANSYS on a

3D imported model created in Pro-E.

Spring 2011, Design for Manufacturing

Formulated and learned the fundamental skills of Pro-E by designing several shapes such as chess pieces, stools,

golf clubs, and several other miscellaneous machined parts with various geometries. Machining and tooling basics

were introduced and designs were further created with the use of CNC machines .

o Evaluated and proposed the best quality assurance practices to Caterpillars Miscellaneous Hydraulic Control

Valves (MCV) assembly in order to streamline and error proof their process.
