About Clinician
As a board certified doctor of chiropractic with over four years of clinical experience I have
developed a wide range of skills in the health management of individuals. Beginning with taking a
health history, performing a physical exam & evaluation, making a diagnosis and administering a
treatment plan, I am competent and confident in all aspects of patient care. Diet, nutrition,
sleeping habits and other lifestyle modification recommendations make up a significant portion of
the wholistic treatment plan I provide for each individual patient. The best healthcare of any
specialty begins with educating and empowering the patient.
Educator
The title “Doctor” originated from a Latin word meaning “to teach”. Teaching and educating
others is my responsibility and to accomplish such a task requires exceptional communication. I
have had the opportunity to teach a number of health classes, perform several lectures on various
health topics, and have been a keynote speaker at a wellness seminar. These experiences have
helped me develop skills and confidence in engaging and effectively communicating with patients,
students and audiences.
Manager
Managing an appointment schedule, a marketing calendar, treating patients and being responsible
for day to day operations of a business requires dedication to staying organized, prioritizing tasks
and managing time effectively. My past experience in sales, fund raising and supervising a team of
5 employees has given me valuable skills in communication, leadership and managing others.
Developer
As an entrepreneur and a solo-practitioner it was my responsibility to reach out and market my
practice to the public. Through public speaking and networking, I learned to summarize my
message in print and other media in a format easy to understand and something to remember. I
gained skills in writing, developing and creating presentations, brochures, lectures, handouts and
other marketing pieces.
