Receive around thousands quantity of specimens from hospitals, clinics, and other clinical areas.
Perform daily Maintenance and quality controls in all areas of instruments by daily, weekly and
monthly procedures. Approve the results and filed the records on all performed tests by Orchard
system. We are using different systems like Orchard (mainly for approval and print the lab
results), Copia (for order the problem samples), Tube tracker (To find the specimens if person
did not received the samples or if it is missed by other departments).
Knowledge of Tests and Instrumentation:
Perform Gliadin IGG & IGA Antibodies, Transglutaminase peptide (ccp) IGG antibodies ON
PHADIA 250. Perform ADVIA Centaur XP Immunoassay System for HIV, Anti-HBs, Auto
antibodies against Thyroid Peroxides,Hep c Virus, Pth Intact. Have to perform maintenance and
QC before and after running the sample. Positive results have to notify the state.
Perform serological tests like RPR by Macro-vue RPR card, Mono test by Sure-Vue Mono kit,
Lead test by Magellan Lead care blood lead testing, Influenza A & B antigen test by Bin ax-Now
kit, STREP A test by BD kit. Also, fax positive results to State. For example RPR test, HIV,
HEPETITTIS C VIRUS. Perform Vitamin D and hsv 1 and hsv 2 on Diasorine-liason
instruments.
