ZG Design **** – December ****:

ZG Design is an international team of marketing, design and printing special- ists based in Stone Town, Zanzibar. Their team consists of creative writers, web and graphic designers, photographers and marketing specialists. ZG Designs publishes marketing, corporate and creative material through their affiliate Gallery Publications.

While at ZG Design I held the responsibility of designing the Tanzania Travel & Tourism Directory 2014, Tanzania Safari Guide 2013 and the Destination Zanzibar 2014 Edition. I also designed numerous websites, brochures, menus, adverts for various hotels in and around Zanzibar and an IOS App for the Tourism Confederation of Tanzania.

Fashion Week Zanzibar - March - October 2013:

Fashion Week Zanzibar is a new initiative dedicated to celebrating fashion created in or inspired by the beautiful island of Zanzibar, Tanzania. The festival of fashion is held at locations around Unguja, the main island of the Zanzibar archipelago.

I was responsible for all FWZ marketing material, which included web design, brochures, tickets, posters, banners, flyers, the official FWZ t-shirts, wall calendars and updating social media platforms.

Framework One 2011 - 2012:

Framework One specialises in bespoke enterprise system development and business process automation using cloud based, Windows Azure services.

The responsibilities I held were creating brand guidelines, presentations and various print materials. During my employment term, I also had the privilege to work with a team of developers designing the front end for their business automation system.

Sygnia Asset Management 2008 - 2011:

Sygnia is a specialist asset management firm that offers a range of absolute oriented investment products to institutional clients in South Africa, as well as the UK and the US. Sygnia also has a systems division that was developed to specifically cater to the requirements of financial institutions in South Africa. Sygnia developed the Platinum software system, based on a proprietary tech- nology platform that offers total flexibility of design and customization.

While at Sygnia I designed and created company brochures invitations, business cards, folders, letterheads and document covers As well as interactive company presentations using both Powerpoint and Microsoft Expression Blend, and worked together with a team of developers to design the Platinum desktop application, as well as several websites on HTML and Silverlight.
