Work experience

• I participated in a cooking course at One In A Million for 10 weeks, at the end of the course.

We made a three course meal for parents/family and friends. This gave me the experience of

working on the till. I also worked with other people that I didn’t really know, this led to team

work and co-operation. It also boost my confidence.

• I also do voluntary work for the company One In A Million and this involves me working

with children. I have been doing this for about 2 and a half year. This shows how much

confidence I have.

• I was involved in going to my primary school and presenting a PowerPoint to show the

awareness of bullying. This gave me the extra support I needed to bond with people, and to

build my confidence up higher.

• I also have work experience with handling money on a till and putting stock out as I worked

at Discount UK in Forster square retail park. This gave me confidence in working as part of a

team to make the company successful. It also helps me experience something new and

develop new skills.

• I also teach dance to children, this is a big part of my life as there are a load of kids that turn

up to my dance classes. I love teaching dance as I get them off the street and help them learn

how to dance; the age range of this is 5-14 Years. Because of this my dancers and my self

have preformed at a stars award 3 times.

• All my work experiences are all based around working with young children as when I’m older

I want to be able to work with children. This is what I aim to do and hope to achieve.
