Currently I am employed as a CNC Operator producing certified parts,
primarily adaptors and couplings, for extreme environment hydraulic lines.
My duties involve running CNC Machines, use of micrometers, and vernier
calipers to maintaining tight tolerances on parts for mass production, and
editing G codes to keep the product within specification to blueprints.

Assistant Operator/Utility Man
Manufacturing of cement products for shipment within Canada and
internationally. As an Assistant Operator in the central control room, my
duties included the operations of the entire plant through computer
terminals, maintain quality control of the product, and monitor the
performance and functionality of the machinery. As a Utility Man, my duties
were to assess any problems in the event of machinery breakdowns,
preventative maintenance checks, lubricating bearings, maintaining oil
levels in gear boxes, and switching breaker panels.

As a Tool and Die apprentice my duties included operating lathes, milling
machines, surface grinders, and radial drills to produce progressive dies
for the automotive industry (primarily Magna Corporation). Work in this
field required working to close tolerances (0.0001 of an inch), and
utilizing tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and telescopic
gauges.

Machine Shop For 5 Years As A Lathe Operator Doing Jobs For Companies In
And Around The Durham Region. **
