Started as leasing agent in 2008 and spent two years leasing. During that time I created
marketing plans and all marketing materials, closed military housing accounts, assisted in
acquiring proposals. I moved up to an assistant after the two years at which point in that time
my collections were always under 1%, I was able to collect an additional $10,000 revenue
from past move outs, performed file audits, worked closely with the manager to train all new
employees with MRI, Yardi, Bluemoon, and all Microsoft Office programs. A year after that I
was promoted to manager where I helped increase NOI on a high rise property by a million
dollars while doing an internal rehab without going over budget. From there I was promoted
to a larger property where I assisted in the rehab process of 252 units. Occupancy was at 40%
when I first got there and in three months we were able to get the occupancy to 75%. I also
was in charge of training employees in both leasing and the assistant manager position.
