I am employed as Maintenance Technician for a 127-room La Quinta Inn beach
front hotel in Cocoa Beach. Duties include all inside and outside
electrical maintenance and repair work for the property; pool maintenance;
make-ready total room rehab and upgrade projects, and quick-response to
guests requiring maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical; Wi-Fi, wall,
doors/window repairs.

the downturn in the economy, doing small electrical and mechanical

2009
Chief Maintenance Engineer
Was Chief Maintenance Engineer for a 117-room Clarion Hotel overlooking the
Kennedy Space Center launch complex on the Indian River. Responsible for
all maintenance functions including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, telephone
systems, room repair and rehab, floors, dry wall, plumbing and meeting
facilities. Reported directly to the Hotel General Manager, Mr. Shehab.
After 7 months of work, the hotel was sold by its NY-based investors to a
Christian-based organization and was converted to a church. All hotel
employees were terminated upon the sale of the property.

Hotel Maintenance Technician
Started work part-time and later full-time as Hotel Maintenance Technician.
Duties include:
< Preventative maintenance (PM) and repair of all room and hotel
functions. Repair and maintain electrical panels, HVAC repair &
control systems circuit board level, breakers, timers; plumbing repair
of all rooms including sinks, showers, tubs, toilets. Trouble-shooting
problems at minimum cost.
< Ensured the safety of the hotel plant: Emergency lighting, exit
signage; evacuation plans. Elevator and HVAC control systems.
