till present
Backgrind Machine Op Tech I
Operate all grinders, SEZ spinetch, metrology, tape and detaping machines in the
backgrind area, in the production of computer wafers. Chemical tests, QC checks,
light machine maintenance and high attention to detail. I also help train new
employees, crosstrain, and work with other chemical testing, verification and
metrology tools, such as FED gauge, ADE, TMS, SIGMA data, and microscope to
ensure the accuracy of my work. 12HR shifts, cleanroom environment.
Fairchild Semiconductor June 2007 till Nov. 2009
Machine Op Tech II
Monitored Novellus and Applied Sentura BPSG chemical depositing machines for
the production of computer wafers. Preformed strict chemical analogies and QC
checks with every lot run. Worked with microscopes, and other metrology tools,
such as TENCOR Perf readers. The majority of the shift was spent running,
reading and logging detailed tests. I worked close with engineering and
maintenance, for machine calibrations. 12HR shifts, cleanroom environment.
(Employment ended Nov. 2009. I had relocated to Coos Bay Oregon.)
Ultradent Products June 2005 till June 2007
Machine Operator/ Material Handler
Operated and monitored up to six injection molding machines throughout the shift.
Preformed very tight QC checks twice an hour, on each machine. Within my first
year, I was promoted to material handler, where my job duties included the exact
measurements and mixing quantities of raw, plastic materials. Lifting 25 to 50LBS
continuously to keep the molding machines running. Calculate and read work
orders and specs. File, log and data into the computer system, and run data
sheets to the floor, and machine operators. Light warehouse, order pick and
pulling, and shipping duties as well. 10HR shifts, cleanroom environment.
(Employment ended when I was offered a position at Fairchild, for more benefits
and pay increase.)
Cole Vision/ Luxottica Corp. Sep. 1999 till 2005
Tech III Machine Operator
I specialized in running and maintaining all polish, finning, grind, mount and
demount machines and tools, used in the fabrication of prescription eye glasses.
Worked with work orders, job/item pick/pulling and sort. Lot and prescription
verification. Light machine maintenance, QC inspection and data processing. I
volunteered an hour of my day, every day, to come in early, and preform
calibrations on the polishing and finning machines. I worked on the "Continuous
flow" and "5 S" teams. I also helped train new employees.
(My employment ended, when Cole Vision was bought out by the Perl
Vision/Luxottica Corp, and the facility was closed, in 2005)
