Engineering / Product Development Manager
Responsible for the development of new products, capital projects, plant
engineering, lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and ISO procedures.
. Oversaw initial prototype designs working closely with Marketing, Sales,
and the Sourcing department.
. Managed all phases of new product development which included R&D,
drafting, costing, BOM's, sourcing, and tooling.
. Developed and implemented procedures that shortened the product
development cycle by 4 months.
. Managed projects throughout the US, Mexico, and China as well as various
other countries with extensive travel throughout the US and Mexico.
