Description:

SAART, Sales Account Assignment and Result Tracking is the division of

AT&T, USA which associates monthly bill data with Business Markets Division

customers and the sales people to whom the customers are assigned. It

presents sales results online and through a comprehensive set of reports.

Data feeds from SAART supply sales results information to the CFO and other

organizations and applications, including the sales compensation system.

The main objective of the IBM India team is to maintain and enhance all the

production jobs and make sure the data is up to date. It involves 24X7

Pager support and critical month end code deployment.

SAART application resides under an MVS operation system OS/390. Application

programs are written in COBOL II, DB2, Eazytrieve, Teradata Scripts and JCL

Languages. It is a TSO environment whereby standard MVS PDS libraries are

used to hold all of the SAART production execution components and data in

TERADATA and DB2 Tables. My role is as follows:
