Avant Insurance is a health insurance organization designed for doctors. It
offers professional indemnity insurance, medico-legal and risk management
advisory services for medical professionals.
The main aim of the project is to provide ongoing report development across
all business units (Sales, Marketing, Membership, Claims, Legal, IT) to
analyze premiums received, claims paid to the members, retention and growth
of our product, assisting in debt collection reports. I have significantly
contributed to the business expansion by developing 80 + critical business

Practitioner reporting is a collection of reports that help the business to
monitor and analyse the overall growth/performance of the business across
various segments. The purpose of this project is to provide the higher
management a better insight about customer retention, acquisitions, and

strike rates, renewals, conversion of quotes to policies and member

Secondary Sales Reporting BI project is an initiative to bring about a step
change in the process of data gathering secondary sales data, analysis and
reporting in order to better inform the decision making process by the
business. The functional area covers sales and inventory. Data from
different branches are integrated at the central repository of Head Office.
The Data Warehouse resides on an ORACLE Database with Cognos8 BI providing
OLAP functionality.

The Access is a product. It provides business intelligence analysis
services to our major clients. Data from various online transaction
processing (OLTP) applications and other sources is selectively extracted,
related, transformed and loaded into the Oracle data warehouse using
Informatica Power Center ETL tool. Then the transformed data from data
warehouse is loaded into an OLAP server to provide Business Intelligence
Analysis Services.
A data mart had developed for Sales sector that cater to the reporting
requirements of the Business Users. The business users used to analyze,
what products are selling on which stores on what dates under what
promotional conditions. Ad-hoc reporting was developed on this data mart
along with end-user customization. The end users can drill through the
information using Business Key Factors over intranet/internet. Security has
been implemented to control the end user data access.

Sonoco Products which are one of the organizations that sells various
numbers of products. Sonoco Products have various stores, which maintain
database has lots of historical data.
This project was to create Sales Data Warehouse and generate reports using
Cognos 8.0 and Power Play Transformer. The aim of sales data Warehouse is
to analyze sales of major brands varying with different promotional
schemes.
The system has a database which stores information about sales, profits and
contacts of customers. Using this existing database, the system should
analyze the sales and profit and generates reports for Sales and Profits in
month wise and year wise. The resulting model gives us an idea about growth
in profit, prediction about increase in sales. The data Warehouse was
further used to do Market Based analysis. The data Warehouse plays a major
role in enabling various stores to view the data at a lowest level and help
them to make decisions to bring more revenue to company with new policies.
