proposals, inform, interpret and recommend to the Superintendent current

and impending state and federal legislation, presents information to the

Board of Education. Assist staff with planning district and school

professional development. Supervise the Title and 31a grant funds. Work

with designated committees made up of principals, teachers, and support

staff with designing specific programs and projects. Monitors grant

compliance and all requests from school personnel for programs and projects

that require special project monies. Evaluate all District federal and

state grant programs on a regular basis. Design staff development programs

for project staff and others. Prepare proposals, applications and reports

in the Michigan Electronic Grants System (MEGS) for state and federal

grants and other related programs. Serve as the District liaison for the

Michigan Department of Education, Wayne RESA, the schools and other

agencies and for all projects of joint community nature. Complies and

maintains written records and reports required by funding sources. Remain

up to date on the changing laws and requirements regarding federal and
