network. The program identifies opportunities for improving service
levels while reducing costs at the same time.

annually while improving on-time delivery by approximately 8%.
COLD CHAIN DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT
. Created and implemented a holistic, global cold chain distribution
program with requirements of; eliminating temperature deviations,
reducing costs, and promoting environmental conservation. The program
included identifying and implementing re-usable shipping containers,
programmable/re-usable temperature monitors, and integrating with
appropriate freight and handling services to optimize the cross-
functional process.

Planning and the CROs.
. Resulted in 20% reduction of temperature excursions, $13.9 million in

DISTRIBUTIOn PLANNING
. Developed a "Distribution Planning" tool and process to create the
distribution strategy and optimize the distribution channels for
individual clinical trial protocols. Elements of the planning tool
include; distribution channel planning, distribution timelines, country
regulatory filing timelines, cold chain management requirements,
international trade requirements (product specifications, HAZMAT,
controlled substance, importer of record, invoice declarations, INCO
terms, brokers, HTS codes and valuations), international documentation
and shipping requirements.
. Implemented distribution planning process collaboratively with; Global
Clinical Trial Operations, Global Logistics, Clinical Demand Planning,
External Networks and the CROs.
. Manage 20+ employees in the function of distribution planning.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
. Designed a holistic approach to clinical supply inventory forecasting
and management through the clinical supply distribution network.
Elements included; statistical models for determining clinical demand,
optimizing the inventory management through the supply chain, reducing
stock-outs, improving service to a 95% on-time delivery, and minimizing
re-supply while maintaining economic inventory levels.

International Trade Management
. Developed, implemented and maintained a successful customs valuation
