Objective - I am looking for a hands-on job that potentially consists of computer

work or customer service. Also I would like something with flexible

hours, but I am willing for any opportunity that is available.

Education - General education in social studies, science, math, literature, art,

accounting, computer skills and music (1995 - 2008)

Experience - Shopko (06/25/2008 - Current)

At Shopko I work as an Optician within the optical department.

Mainly my responsibilities are towards answering the phone to set up

appointments, taking down personal information such as insurances

and address. With this job I also assist the Optometrist by doing pre-

examinations, obtaining patient records from other optical centers and

scheduling patients out due to referral requests. Currently im in training

for financial work such as keeping track of sale percentages. I created a

excel document to calculate individual sales for each month for each

optician. Another responsibilitie I have is towards our aged accounts

that are denials from insurance companies. With every I determine why

the denial was received and to make sure that all information sent to the

insurance companies were correct. Also if an account that is set as the

patients responsibilitie has not been paid in a timely manner, I then

turn the account over to the corporate office to be sent to a collection

agency for payment.

- Schmitz Brothers Two (April 2004 - May 2010)

I worked at this restaurant starting out cleaning tables, washing dishes

and stocking coolers. After time I was promoted to Waitress. With the

promotion I took on the responsibilities of memorizing our menu and

price of each product, serving multiple plates at one time for large

parties with the knowledge of how to balance each plate on my arms.

Skills - Some of my most important skills are computer work, one on one

communication with customers and some mathematical work.
