Warren Swanger is dedicated to the principle of “mission first - people always”. As an example, he was chosen from a group of more senior service personnel to lead the largest logistics Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron (REDHORSE) movement since the Vietnam War. On extremely short notice, he coordinated the movement of 100 million dollars of cargo and material from 14 separate locations to arrive in the proper sequence to support critical construction projects in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The decoration he received from the Secretary of the Air Force cited the difficulty and complexity involved in the mission given him, crediting him for superb and timely support. His career is balanced by an education providing professional depth to an impressive experience base and he currently holds an active Top Secret, SBI/SCI Clearance.

Developed course materials to include curriculum, outlines for instructors, student workbooks for students to study from, test materials and visual aids for the Logistics Plans Apprentice Course, (L3ABR2G031 01 D). Was hand selected as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Senior Non Commission Officer Logistics Course (Log 2R) to help bridge the gap of between logistics career field.

• Reviewed and corrected 154 course lessons, fused Air Force transformation into the course, to make it 100% Career field Education and Training Plan compliant.

• Gathered data from prior versions of course instruction, to determined problem areas

• Rewrote materials to closely mirror the proficiency level to the objectives in the course

• Developed instructor lesson plans to match information contained in the student manuals, and test

• Assessed students comprehension of materials by redesigning all test, to match related information that was lectured, and in the student work books, to comply with educational standard

Organizes deployed unit facilities, aircraft parking, vehicle support, aerospace ground equipment, transportation arrangements and lodging with host base agencies. Monitored logistics for 55 deployments to 11 separate locations saving $264,000 in travel costs.

• Engineered state-of-the-art data collection technique utilizing wireless computer technology, providing worldwide access to weapons statistics and reducing data collection time by 50%

• Developed detailed deployed unit guides to reduce processing time by 25%

• Provided liaison support for pre-deployment, employment, and redeployment of Air Combat Command, United States Air Forces in Europe, Pacific Air Forces, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve assets participating in Weapon System Evaluation Program.
