model for the Greensboro watershed to assist NOAA with operational flood forecasting .
Responsibilities: Coded in U NIX environment to configure model settings, set file-
paths for input parameters, and process model results. Data collection and processing of
satellite data, temperature data, precipitation data, and GIS data. Used Python to
parse hydrological data and import it from USGS website into .csv file. Also used
Python in conjunction with ArcGIS software to clip boundary for desired study area
w ithin digital map.
