Corporate Director of Human Resources 2011 to Present

Provide overall human resources leadership for the organization. Initiated and lead organizational

restructuring during merger of two privately owned organizations. Lead a team of human

resources professionals to develop internal programs to sustain and increase employee

productivity during and after organizational changes. Designed and facilitated newly re structured

recruiting and retention programs to ensure employment stability within the organization during a

corporate transition. Initiated health and safety practices to stream line employee injuries and

reduce workers compensation liability. Facilitate new programs that create special emphasis on

employee relations and management development along with company-wide benefit and policy

design.

Implemented consolidated policies and processes to ensure consistent human resources practices

Regional Director of Human Resources 2008 to 2011

Provide strategic human resources services for multiple locations in four North American states totaling 5500

employees. Manage a team of human resources professionals who lead generalist responsibility including

career development, succession planning, employee relations, union avoidance and labor contracts. Facilitate

training and development initiatives that produce enhanced management routines and disciplined work

streams. Designed, implemented and managed national strike contingency planning while providing

replacement worker security for the operational business.

Managed multiple department reorganizations, including sales operations, supply chain and office

Decorative Concepts, Inc. was a privately held equity firm that managed three portfolio companies with

revenues in excess of $450 million.

Director of Human Resources 1996

to 2003

Consolidated the corporate divisions benefit packages into a singular plan. Created and

implemented steps in restructuring all administration departments while reducing operational

costs. Provided organizational changes to each of the four divisions and built the corporate

structure with an upgraded exempt work force.

Negotiated and implemented new policy designs, which included workers’ compensation, product
