• Led emergency response to 37 incidents involving suspected anthrax following 9/11 – ensured safety of two
combatant commands
• Technical expert; Career Field Managers selection to revamp comprehensive industrial hygiene course taught

first ever homeland defense procedures to handle a WMD attack on MacDill AFB

• Quality Assurance Evaluator on Environmental, Safety and Health matters for a base operating support
contract with an annual operating budget of $51M on the remote Johnston Atoll
• Environmental Manager and Industrial Hygienist for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency in support of
various conventional high-explosive weapons testing programs
• Team lead for Cooperative Threat Reduction Initiative in Kazakhstan; mitigated hazardous radiological
contamination in underground nuclear test facilities
• Deployed to Operation Desert Shield/Storm as the sole Environmental, Safety and Health specialist to a
