Direct management of 36 employees in the Clinical Support Services area, which encompassed specimen

• Reduced expenses by decreasing overtime, FTE attrition and adjusting standing orders ($234K

saved)..

• Served as a liaison between regional outpatient, inpatient and clinical sites to provide customer

service for parents and patients; time of problem recognition to resolution less than 48 hours.

• Provided test information (Specimen collection/handling, CPT codes, test fees) to hospital staff

by adding 1200 test pages to CNMC intranet and Sunquest additional test information;

completed in 3 months.

NYMOX CORPORATION, Rockville, MD 1997 – 1999

Laboratory Manager

• Initiated quality control/quality assurance programs, certification of laboratory (CLIA, State of

Maryland) and training / competency of 7 employees resulting in the opening of a new clinical

lab for Alzheimer’s disease testing.

• Evaluated instruments and tests that allowed the technology to be transferred to the clinical

laboratory.

• Worked in the research area performing protein purification and antibody analyses resulting in

background reduction of a crucial test component
