*Utilization of differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners-

*Raised reading levels at La Academia in order to meet AYP for the

2012-2013 year by using data to create differentiated learning-

*Awarded three education grants during the 2012-2013 school year to

continue implementing reading initiatives-

*Founder of: “Hand in Hand”, Peer Collaborative Pairs, a program to enable

inner-city schools to meet their educational outcomes-

*Research grant recipient for 2012-2013: Honeywell Foundation- “Hand in

Hand”, Peer Collaborative Pairs.

*Awarded the Dollar General Grant for 2012-2013-

*Awarded the Kids in Need Foundation Grant for 2012-2013

*Created Scope and Pacing Guides for CA-

Throughout the past two years I have had the experience to collect and

analyze data in order to create educational instructional plans that would

raise the mean reading levels of students at La Academia Partnership

Charter School. This enabled the school to make AYP for the 2011-2012

school year. My students reading scores were elevated during the

2012-2013 school year and results should meet AYP.
