Leader of 3 direct reports and 100 indirect reports in this solvent chemical rubber glove dipping facility. Established

expectations to achieve budgeted goals, manages the budget, and allocates resources using applied knowledge of profit drivers.

Key achievements

Made full use of greenbelt training and projects to improve yield in the plant from 84% to 90.6%.

Instituted coaching training with supervisors which led to drive engagement from the plant floor.

Rubber Compound Manufacturing Company – this was a start up facility in February 2006.

P lant Manager 2006 – 2007

Setup safety programs and trained employees on safety to maintain a safe work environment that was compliant with all state

and federal laws. Created hourly and salaried job descriptions. Tracked and addressed re-occurring process, system, and human

resource issues and implement viable solutions. Audited plant systems for compliance to safety regulations, ISO standards and

company policy. Managed six direct reports and two doted line reports and served as a resource for all associates. Establish

plant wide and departmental budgets. Reviewed monthly P& L statement. Managed and controlled costs to budget. Created

and implemented annual budget.

Established a highly technical laminated plastic tube manufacturing facility with operations that included letterpress printed and

laminated plastic tube manufacturing. Supervised 159 employees and 7 supervisors on 4 shifts working 24 hours per day 7 days

per week. Prepared and administered the plant budget. Maintained the plant and met cGMP requirements. Worked closely with

customers on new projects and existing products.
