Research Assistant
- I worked with Dr. Rombough from the Department of Social Work at UTPA by
gathering research on the prevalence of neuroscience in master-level social work
programs nationwide.
- Using the Diffusion Theory, we tried explaining how the study of neuroscience
can help Social Work Practitioners have a better understanding of the inner workings
of the brain, how different disorders can affect the brain, and the more precise preventative
approaches to take in alleviating their stress.
NASW State Licensure
- Was granted permission from the National Association of Social Workers
Board to acquire my state licensure as an LMSW under the AMEC program, and
have a NASW board-certified Supervisor whom I can, but do not need to
be employed with, but I must meet with twice a month during the first

Advocate for the equal treatment and access to assistive technology for students with disabilities in
the university setting. Work with the neighboring community on fundraising activities for the
purchase of necessary assistive technology equipment to aid college students in furthering their
education. Volunteer with nearby school districts to benefit the Special Olympics for students in
schools city-wide.
