CURRENT PROJECT : Faridabad City Water & Sewer Distribution System

Description: The existing data 1990’s was captured by NRSA Hyderabad which is not covering all the

details as present existing condition of the Faridabad city so comparing with the Google Earth Map

and Google map Working with Coordinate Systems for the purpose of supplying drinking water to

entire city dragging water from Yamuna river. Using AutocadMap & ArcGIS Softwares.

Description: Consultancy Services for Survey, Investigation and preparation of Initial Report (Later

diversion of water flows from upper catchment of west flowing Halls to East for improvement of

Drinking water and Ground water recharge in SHIMOGA, HAVERI, DHARWAD, GADAG,

HASSAN, TUMKUR, RAMANAGARAM, BANGALORE RURAL, BANGALORE URBAN CITY,

KOLAR, CHICKBALLAPUR DISTRICTS AND PARTS OF CHIKKAMAGALUR DISTRICT.

Role: Presently involved in preparation of GIS Maps of Garland Canal, Service Canal, Rain Gauge

Stations, Ecosensitive Area Maps, Forest Area Maps, Water bodies Maps, Sol & Geological Maps and

Currently working under this project. As a CAD Draftsman select the alignment based on the technical,

economical and financial viability and perform Feasibility Study for the selected alignment. The Detailed

project Report includes details of alignment, field investigation, Responsible for conducting and

analyzing the data obtained from pavement condition surveys, Organize and analyze the traffic surveys,

OD survey, axle load surveys.

Responsible for highway geometrics, preparation of detailed traffic signs layouts, street lighting

drawings, flexible pavement design for new carriageway and overlay and intersection improvements and

Rigid pavement design for toll plaza locations. Layout setup Plan and Profile with scale 1:2000 and

details of Utilities containing Kilometer wise.

Year: 2010 – Ongoing, Client: Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation

(KUIDFC) have prepared the Karnataka Municipal Reforms Project (KMRP) under the World Bank

assistance.

Role: CAD Draftsman

The assignment is in two Phases, the first phase for Planning, designing and procurement assistance;

and the second phase for Implementation assistance:

Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) for Road side Drains

Layout setup for the following cities Kanakapura, Nagamangala, Chikballapur and Shimoga by

showing Existing Roads upon Proposed Road.

Description:

Developed standards for cartographic placement of GIS features to produce 1" = 200' scale atlas

books for use in the field and general rules on how to interpret information from atlas maps.

Created annotation feature classes for feature-linked and non feature-linked annotations and

established connectivity rules between various feature classes in the Sewer, Water, Storm and

StreetSign System Geometric Network.

Responsibilities:

I was responsible for data conversion, project management, implementation of standards and

procedures, on the job training for fresh inductees into the project. Developed AutoCAD data entry

routines, Arc/Info AML’s for conversion and Quality Checks.

Project Name : San Bernardino County, CA

Facility : Parcel Mapping

Description:

This Parcel Mapping Project included source compilation from different Survey Documents and with the

help of the Software ‘Alchemy’ provided by the County. The first phase of work was to convert the hard

copy survey documents to individual sub-division digital files with COGO (Co–Ordinate Geometry) and

the constructed survey lines were attributed.

The next phase of work consisted of construction of Framework by using the Survey

Documents and adjustment of the developed framework by using the Ground Control Points (GPS &

BLM). Assembling the individual survey line work of the sub-divisions to a seamless data comprising of

a Book within the Framework block was the next phase of work after the development of Framework.

Edge Matching between each of the Books were completed.. All these tasks were carried out by using

Autodesk Map.

The final phase of work was to add all relevant annotations in Autodesk Map then converting

the same to ESRI’s Arc/Info coverage and generate individual Assessor Map Page based on its original

scale. We have to create the Assessor Map Page for San Bernardino County for approximate total area

of 210 Miles x 136 Miles consisting of 48,000 Parcels.

I was the Team Leader of San Bernardino County Parcel Mapping Project for Phase – 03

which is the final Phase of the Project.
