Project AOTS is intended to be the Single Ticketing System that
Detail supports all Problem Management functions within AT&T which
is based on Concept of One and Concept of Zero. Concept of
One is an effort to eliminate redundant systems which
consolidates functionality from various ticketing systems
(many disparate business processes) into a single trouble
ticketing pool where as Goal of Concept Zero is to automate
as many manual functions as possible, leaving only the most
difficult problems for human intervention. This will allow
AT&T to meet its goal of excellence in customer experience
and satisfaction in the most efficient and economical way.
The application supports both Manual ticket creation and
Auto ticket creation which has about 15 interfaces using
Oracle Streams, Materialized Views, Java API, C++ plug-ins
and web-services.

Contribution Gained significant experience in Remedy Development and
Plug-in Development using C++

Project Detail The AT&T's Integrated Ticket List (ITL) is the
ticketing tool integration as part of its overall
restructuring initiative for work centers that provide
service assurance to enterprise customers. With this
version of the Integrated Ticket List (ITL) Web Interface,
AT&T began a mass migration and integration of its trouble
management ticketing tools to the Web.
ITL is developed entirely as a new application for AT&T
which serves as the common ticketing platform operations
for various user communities and groups of users within
AT&T.
This project is developed from the root level by IBM India
team which supports 6 Native applications of AT&T including
AT&T, SBC, BellSouth and other Regional Bell companies.
This application uses Remedy Action Request System to
support this vast ticketing platform and is hosted on Mid
Tier Server 7.0 of BMC. This application hosts various
maintenance & end user ticketing applications and most
importantly Single Sign On feature.
Project Design, Development, Unit testing and Integration testing
Contribution Gained significant experience in Remedy, JavaScript, Build
Process and SQL while working as a Developer in the newly
formed ITL team.

Service Assurance
