Professional Profile

I have been in the profession of Climate Change and Sustainability related

Management Consulting services for over 4.5 years. In the past 4.5 years,

I have emerged as a keen planner, strategist & implementer with

demonstrated abilities in accomplishing consistent business with respect to

Environment, Health and Safety and as a proactive leader with expertise in

strategic planning and execution of assignments related to Environment,

Health & Safety.

I have completed my PGDM in Environment Management from Indian Institute of

Social Welfare & Business Management (IISWBM) Kolkata in the year of 2009

and B.SC in Microbiology from Calcutta University in the year of 2007.

Professional Experience

Responsibilities:

To facilitate deployment of Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety

Management Systems as per ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 within, carry

out internal HSE audits and training. Assist in the identification of HSE

improvement projects, facilitate and review implementation, to collate and

review HSE performance data, ensure HSE legal compliance for allocated

centers, ensure HSE awareness through development of training material, web-

based material, update HSE website etc. and overall assist the

implementation of HSE initiatives.

. Maintaining Statutory Compliance viz. Environmental Statement Report,

Annual Returns, Water Cess, and Environmental Consents across SGS

India.

. Conducting Internal EHS audits at different sites.

. Conducting EHS training for employees and Subcontractors and overall

awareness.

. Prevention and control of Personal Injuries and Maintaining Safe

Working environment in the entire premises by developing various

Inspection checklists, formats, Accident Reporting & Investigation

Systems & Records.

. Identification of Potential Hazards in the critical areas.

. Investigation of accidents and incidents to minimize recurrence.

. Responsible for daily and monthly EHS reports.

Project Experiences:

. Through experience, developed expertise in IMS ((Integrated Management

System) Implementation "at AREVA T & D, Kolkata as Project during

industrial training. To understand the requirement of the standards

for EMS(14001:2004) and OHSAS(OHSAS18001:1999)

. Three months summer training on "E-Waste Management"from Hindalco

Industries Limited, Belur Works.

ENVIRONMENT (Clean Development Mechanism)

. To ensure that the latest status of ongoing validation and

verification projects is updated on a regular basis in order to meet

the accreditation requirements.

. Record comments from UNFCCC for Incomplete/Request for Review /Full

Review /Correction request and keep record to ensure statistics can be

generated.

. To assist in collating relevant project details in monthly performance

sheet.

. As a operation coordinator involved in completeness checking of

validation and verification

. To coordinate with Team and Product coordinator to ensure that the

team is meeting the Competency Statement requirement and signed off in

staff register. To ensure the processing of Curriculum vita and

Competency Statement.

. To identify the potential Local Assessor from all sub-affiliate

countries under SGS India and to ensure the processing of Curriculum

Vita & Competency Statement.

. To coordinate and procure information of project completion status

along with man day involvement & record the information under team

contribution worksheet.

. To organize the project file administration and archives to maintain

effective housekeeping in accordance with required internal quality

standards and accreditation requirements.

. Working with SGS CDM team. As a team member involved in many projects

for CDM Validation and Verification. Working with SGS UK for internal

communication with SGS India.

. Technical knowledge for CDM Validation and Verification project.

. Completed internal CDM training with SGS UK.

Act as a team member and the responsibilities include assisting team

member with functional solution and ensure the quality of the

deliverables.

. Take part in weekly Report to discuss the progress, risks and issue in

Project.

. As a team member providing Technical Support for monitoring &

reporting for Environmental project.

University and FOSET Jadavpur Sub-center, 24th June, 2008
