EXPERIENCE: Human Resources Specialist July 2008 to Present

Department of Defense Arlington, VA

• Developed in Microsoft PowerPoint and facilitated a face-to-face training

presentation on Reemployed Annuitants for coworkers and supervisors.

• Deliver face-to-face new employee orientation presentations for new hires to

ensure awareness of administrative policies and employee benefits programs.

• Co-developed in Microsoft PowerPoint and co-facilitated a face-to-face

training presentation on Veterans Preference for coworkers and supervisors.

• Revised the office's new employee orientation presentation to account for

changes in administrative and benefits programs as well as to make such

information easier to understand for the learner.

Independent Study Student January 2008 to May 2008

• Created a web-based training course in Adobe Captivate on highway

construction zone flagger safety for an independent study course.

• Completed the following parts of the analysis and design phases of the

• Designed sexual harassment and Limited English Proficiency (LEP) program

training modules for employees and managers in PowerPoint.

• Using information from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) developed a

knowledge test of Title 6 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to be given to State

Highway Administration (SHA) staff and program managers that brought
