To whom it may concern:

Elizabeth Dawson served as my executive assistant and legal

secretary for over three years in my solo law practice in Atlanta,

Georgia. During such time, she conducted herself with great skill and

competency, and was a pleasure to work with.

Liz always conducted herself professionally and with a great

sense of decorum. She is skilled in dealing with clients, whether in

person or on the telephone. On many occasions, clients gave

unsolicited complimentary remarks regarding Liz's courteous

professional and friendly demeanor.

Liz repeatedly demonstrated her team mentality of work. She not

only worked well with others, but those around her uniformly thought

of her as a friend. When those around her needed help, she routinely

volunteered to help without being asked.

Liz's honesty and integrity are without question. In the legal

field, discretion and confidence are important. Liz understands this

instinctively and consistently.

The single quality I appreciated most was her desire to make me

look good. It was not enough for Liz that she merely completes her

assigned tasks and clocks her time she wanted me to look good too. I

could always count on Liz taking extra steps to make me look better.

Liz is no longer working for me through no fault of her own. The

recent economic downturn has taken its toll on my practice, which is

largely financing and transaction based. Laying her off was one of the

hardest things I have ever had to do. It was an extreme last-ditch

effort to cut costs and salvage my practice.

It was impossible for me to work as closely as we did for so

long without her becoming a dear friend, which she is. If my practice

survives and becomes profitable again, she knows she has a standing

offer to work for me as my legal assistant any time.

It would be an honor and a pleasure to discuss Liz and her

performance with anyone at any time. I highly recommend her for any

position she feels she is qualified.
