to 4 years and 4 to 5 years, daily, 2.5 hours each. Developed ideas from children, based
on KWL and webbing to broaden their understanding of Restaurants (Nov.) and Store
(December). Hired to replace staff on Maternity Leave, 10/24/2012 to 01/07/2013 with
Xmas break starting 12/21/2012. Some responsibilities were: maintaining individual
portfolio samples, photographs of children engaged in task, anecdotal observations,
small group and individualizations, safety, health, modeling best practices for parents
and teachers and meeting with classroom teachers to reflect and plan for students.

consisted of an assistant and me. Observations, team planning to facilitate
engagement of different learning styles to meet the learning needs of all students.
Earth Day Celebration: Hands on activity that included students wearing gloves
and picking up loose paper on the West, North, East, and South streets around the
school. Read story, Trashy Town, Children noticed trash being thrown from moving
cars, paper/trash on the streets around school and the same grown-ups always sweeping
and picking up the trash on the streets as we walked in the neighborhood. We decided to
help several times a month beginning with Earth Day. Our plan was to pick up paper
only and place it in our garbage bags. The adults sweeping in front of the different
buildings encouraged our litter collection. Our parents approved especially since we
wore gloved and did not gather broken glass. The children drew pictures with dictation

experience with families. Later, some artwork/pictures were placed in a binder for the
classroom library.

Team consisted of classroom teacher and teacher assistant in 3-5 year old
Classroom. Promoted giving all children in a small group the same material – allowing children
to explore materials at their developmental level – teacher interact with each child verbally to
