-Biological Operator II (2001-2011)

Worked with engineers from other sites to run four pilot batches for non-commercial stereotypes;

Operated Honeywell, bio-engineering skid and local control systems. Inoculated all vessels, and seed

bottles in preparation for production run; performed Viability testing on seed bank material. Steamed WFI

loop .Monitored fermentation conditions, and maintained equipment used in the process. Kept growth

areas sterilized and monitored for any abnormalities in the growth process or with machinery. Recorded

growth data, and input information on log sheets. Performed all necessary tests to check health and

quality of the batches; performing where needed adjustments to control pH or other required changes to

growing conditions. Clean and steam in place all vessels and perform boil outs on contaminated vessels.

Cleaned, steamed and sterilized equipment Clarification room. Used centrifuge and filter bank to clarify

batch, monitoring for OD.

Assisted in modifying existing S.O.P’s and J.H.A’s for clarification to meet FDA standards.

with crystallizers and filter presses. Worked with fluid bed air dryers. Hydrogenated
