Over the years, I’ve had numerous titles and responsibilities and was rather successful at each and

every one of them. The titles vary from Maintenance Tech positions, supervisor type positions, project

manager, Corporate Tech support(included traveling), R&D Staff(machine design and building). I have

gained an enormous background in both mechanical and management areas that almost any company

skills in retail environments as well as reinforcing my people skills.

While at the HF Group, I have had various titles over the 30+ years. I was Maintenance

Supervisor/Facility Manager. Previously, I was a R&D Staff member, Project supervisor,

Local and Remote Tech support(included traveling). In that time I acquired a huge

arsenal of both knowledge and skills including machine design, machinists skills(lathe,

milling machine, welding fabricating, etc…), electrical skills(low voltage, high voltage,

digital logic), Hydraulics and pneumatics(circuit design, troubleshooting and repair).

My accomplishments include; implementing proper maintenance procedures for

maintenance staff at our 7 companies located throughout the U.S. Frequently traveled to

our companies for on-site support and education. I implemented a CAD archival system

for blueprints of machines we designed and build for in-house use. I designed many

machines used in production, most of which increased productivity from 20-40%. I was

also involved in the layout and construction of new factories that were built. I also did

initial production layout for logical work flow.

L IST OF JOB SKILLS

Mechanical Skills:

Repair and circuit design for hydraulics and pneumatics including ability to repair/repair valves,

cylinders, logic devices, hydraulic/pneumatic motors, hydraulic pumps, etc…

Working and design knowledge of most power transmission devices; gearboxes, belt/pulley

systems, gears, sprockets, etc…

Working and design knowledge of bearings, linear bearings, bushing, and most other bearing

systems.

Working knowledge and design of most fastener systems, both American and metric.

Electrical Skills:

Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot/repair most relays, electric motors(AC, DC, Servo,

Stepper), switches, working and design knowledge of analog devices(4-20ma)

Knowledge of electricity, both AC and DC, including power supplies and transformers. Some

TTL logic. PLC knowledge- ability to upload and download programs, make changes to counters

and timers, ability to read “Ladder Logic”, ability to troubleshoot most PLC problems, no

history of writing programs from scratch

Machine shop skills:

Working knowledge of Bridgeport milling machine, lathe, band saws, drill press, etc…

plasma cutting

Design skills:

Experienced in design of custom machinery Skills range from prototype design, CAD drawing,

machining parts, assembly. Also skilled in electrical panel design and assembly.

Building/Facility skills:

Some HVAC experience troubleshooting and repair(not certified). Knowledge of lighting repair,

plumbing repair, electrical repair, roof repair, Floor stripping and waxing. Basic constructions

skills with some architectural design. Working knowledge of framing(wood only, no metal

experience), drywall, trim, etc…

Computer skills:

Knowledge and use of most Windows operating systems as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc…

Use of CAD program (DesignCAD, similar to AutoCAD). Working knowledge of PhotoShop.

Also have experience with computer hardware including memory and other component upgrades

as well as some computer troubleshooting and repair. Installation of peripherals and

networks(hard-wired and wireless)
