. Technical Supervisor - Oversaw and performed repairs,
scheduled maintenance, new installations and training on
all machines for this HDPE Pipe Fusion machine company.
(Fusion machines, field machines, extrusion welders and
band saws). Performed all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic,
electrical(120-240-480v), software reprogramming, upgrades
and PLC troubleshooting in all the United States, Canada
and the Caribbean for this company based out of Padova,
Italy.
I traveled approximately 45% of the time and performed
these duties with no direct supervision. Due to economic
slowdown I also was in charge of all parts shipping and
inventory control.
2003 - Present HORNSBY'S HOME REPAIR, HAINES CITY, FL.
. Owner - All home repair work from repairing storm damage,
extensive remodeling to basic small jobs. In charge of all
job estimates and material purchasing. All electrical,
flooring, tile work, drywall repair, light plumbing, etc.
Sub-contractor for Federal Consulting & Trading
International for their ATM machines throughout central
Florida. (Hardware and Software diagnostics and repair).
2001 - 2003 ALPINE ENGINEERED PRODUCTS.. HAINES CITY, FL.
. Maintenance Supervisor - In charge of all machine and plant
maintenance for this Truss Plate Manufacturing Company.
Performed repairs and all electrical (120-240v) electronic
and P.L.C. troubleshooting on all machines and
equipment.(150 ton punch presses, AC-DC motor drives,
automated conveyor lines, labelers, wrap machines,
stackers, tray makers, etc.)In charge of all maintenance
technicians work schedules and machine down time schedules.
In charge of ordering all replacement parts and maintaining
inventory. I also was a member of the safety board and the
plant had the fewest accidents. (There were 2 more
plant locations in U.S.) During my tenure with this company
production downtime was lowered 90% and I was consistently
recognized for outstanding job performance

. Lead Maintenance Technician - Oversaw and performed repairs
and scheduled maintenance on all machines for this circuit
board manufacturer. (On a wide variety of machines,
silkscreen printers, drill stations - routers, hot flow
solder blowers, etc.) Performed all mechanical, electrical
(120-220-480v) electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, P.L.C. and
C.N.C. troubleshooting on all machines and
equipment. During my tenure with this company, machine down
time was lowered 90% and I was consistently recognized for
outstanding job performance.
1997-1999 SIDEL INC., NORCROSS, GA.
. Field Service Technician - Installed, serviced and
maintained P.E.T. plastic blow molding machines and
associated equipment in all of the U.S.A. and Canada.
Performed all mechanical, electrical, electronic,
pneumatic, hydraulic, P.L.C. troubleshooting and training
on a wide variety of machines, from new installations to
complete retrofits and rebuilds. I traveled approximately
95% of the time and performed these functions with no
direct supervision. Company was based
out of Le Havre, France and I gained valuable experience
with European cultures.
1994-1995 BRATTON S.A., COSTA RICA, CENTRAL AMERICA
. Maintenance Manager - Worked with this new company to test
and demonstrate solar and photovoltaic systems, as an
alternative energy source. Worked closely with the CEO on
dealing with the government owned energy company (I.C.E.) I
gained valuable experience in working and dealing with
technical and cultural differences in a Third World
Country.
