Migration of an OpenVMS legacy system in V6 to V8 on Solaris Unix in less than three months.
This included over 3700 programs and 100 scripts.
Redesigned their batch update process using Warehouse Administrator and reduced run times by
over 60%.
Converted a cookie based SAS/Intrnet site to a secure session variable based JSP site.

their complex geographic distribution of offices.

Senior SAS Programmer
At Yellow Freight: redesigned a complex process for distributing mainframe based account data to
inside and outside sales representatives. The new process included a mainframe based SAS/AF
user menu for maintaining and modifying team based sales assignments, and procedures for
automating the upload/download of customer data to an MS Access database.
At Santa Fe Contract Services Division, using Base SAS and SAS/AF, custom designed user
interface screens for personnel managing contracts.

Responsible for every aspect of business operations, sales, marketing, and data analysis.
Using SAS in conjunction with WordPerfect, PowerMacs, and Tactician, geocoded latitude and
longitude to sites in federal and state environmental databases, displayed these sites on a
mapping system, and produced a street detailed report for clients.
Developed a system for extracting, normalizing, and updating data from all 50 states as well as
the Federal Government (over 200 different data sources).
Developed an automated system for generating reports using geocoding software, SAS programs,
and WordPerfect Macros.
