accordance with product specification requirements in DOORS

Strategically selected, automated and executed test cases to increase efficiency during the test start cycle

Analyzed test results, summarized information into defect tracking system (Atlassian JIRA) tracking problems

through to resolution, communicated issues to project leader, and prepared test reports

Collaborated with Ciena engineering personnel to resolve problems related to specifications and associated test

plans/procedures on all levels of testing from the component, the system, to the network management layer

Performed data communication network configuration for systems using TCP/IP, OSPF, Proxy ARP, SNMP

Assessed software builds for 6500 and Common Photonics Layer (CPL) and performed hardware inspection of

new products to ensure they meet industry standards

Used TL1 commands to commission network elements for testing including green field deployment

DESIGN PROJECTS

Undergraduate Honours Thesis- Spectrum Sensing Techniques for Cognitive Radio Networks Sept 2011 - Apr 2012

Investigated opportunistic spectrum access focusing on detection methods for radio signals.

Explored “Energy Detection” using “Monte Carlo” simulation in MATLAB to obtain Receiver Operating

Characteristic (ROC) curves for non-cooperative spectrum sensing

Explored performance evaluation for cooperative spectrum sensing using hard decision combining and soft

decision combining

Microprocessor Systems - Environment Perception and Mapping Jan - Apr 2012

Designed an environment perception and mapping system that determines dimensions of objects by using the

onboard accelerometer and gyroscope on the ARM based STM32F103RE microcontroller

Developed wireless communication system using two iNemo boards in combination with two ez430-RF2500

wireless development kits to communicate and coordinate the sensor readings obtained while scanning an

object between two boards in real time

Microelectronics Laboratory-Design, Fabrication and Testing of Analog IC Amplifiers Sept - Dec 2011

Designed and tested some important building blocks used in Analog IC amplifiers with the help of CAD tool

Electric, using the Gennum GA911(1.5 micron) BJT technology

Digital System Design Sept - Dec 2009

Developed the design of an interactive Mastermind Game, capable of guessing the user’s color-code in less than

six guesses and implemented it on the Altera MAX7000 FPGA using the VHDL description language.
