My objective is to gain experience in technology by learning from the
experience I hope to better prepare myself for the future and better
support my family. I feel like the best way learn is by experience
especially when learning about building a career and I feel that my hard
work and effort will only increase with the opportunities possible. I

Hastings Entertainment, Inc.
Our duties include repairing equipment sent back by store level associates
as well as maintain inventory monthly in order to keep everything up to
date, configure switch ports, network routers, wireless routers and access
points in order to keep store equipment connected to the secured network at
all times. Maintain warehouse equipment working correctly in order to
reduce number of work time stoppages. We are a portion of second tier level
support. An extensive knowledge of command prompt, Unix and SQL commands
are required in order to set up all that is required for stores and
warehouse. We travel to store locations to assist them in installing all
equipment correctly as necessary, IF necessary. While at stores, we make
sure everything is up to date at all times while on the trip, if it is not
then we place an order and wait until equipment has arrived and install it
for the store level associates.
July 2012 - April 2013, Helpdesk Technician LVL1
Hastings Entertainment, Inc.
My duties include assisting store level employees in diagnosing, repairing,
and setting up their terminals, verifones, printers, network routers,
network servers as well as assisting in any customer account issues when
pertaining to rental accounts. We are the first level of technical support
for stores. A regular use of Unix and SQL are required in order to perform
our duties as technicians. We are also required to know how to access
remotely our stores servers as well as PCs.

The Skilled Trades Company
I was required to place skilled tradesmen onto specific construction sites
as their skills were needed. I managed up to 30 men/women at once from time
to time. I made sure their payroll forms and tax forms were in before the
required time frame. I also made sure they were on site at the time they
were supposed to be. I translated for other recruiters as I was the only
Spanish speaker for my region which ranged from New Mexico to Oklahoma to
Texas as far East as Louisiana.
November 2010 - April 2012, Technical Consultant
Sprint Nextel
I repaired mobile devices ranging from cellphones to tablets to mini
laptops as well as some air data cards. I translated as needed for Spanish
speaking customers. I was required to maintain inventory as well as make
sure our work areas were clean at all times.

Sears Roebuck and Co.
My duties ranged from maintaining inventory to selling consumer electronics
as well as making sure I was up to date with all current products within
that category. I translated for Spanish speaking customers as needed. I
also made sure the store planogram was set up for our department every
month.
May 2008 - May 2009, Veterinary Technician Assistant, CVA I
CrossRoads Animal Hospital
Received my CVA while working at the hospital which moved me up as a vet
tech assistant. My duties included, placing animals under anesthesia and
preparing them for surgeries. I was also required to know correct dosages
for medicine, assist in surgeries as well as examine animals while doctors
were not available. While working as a CVA, I was still required to
maintain my duties as kennel staff when not busy.

their kennels and cages were clean at all times. I translated for Spanish
speaking clients as necessary. I did laundry when needed, made sure all
