Enterprise Level Citrix Engineer

. Analysis of target country needing migration of entire local in-

country Citrix environment to Data Center (understanding number of

users, number of concurrent user, existing applications, future

expansion, upgrades of application, timeline needed for migration, and

plan for the migration)

. On-going task consisted of installing Windows Servers (2003, 2008 - 32

bit, 2008 - 64 bit, etc) from iso files, onto new spun up VM's

(VMware).

. Install correct version of Citrix (depending on countries existing

infrastructure and desired request in DC).

. Configure Citrix, per design sheets provided by PwC resources. This

consisted of 2 Zone Data Collectors, 2 Profile Management servers, and

anywhere from 10 to 40 Citrix servers (depending on Countries

requirements). License servers, Database servers, Edgesight servers,

and other legacy servers.

. Documentation of country specific application installs, with

screenshots, to validate successful installs and provide future

documentation to other engineers.

. Provide 24/7 support for country testing of new Data Center

environment, to ensure all applications work as expected. Document

any issues and address and fix them within a 24 hour timeline, to

ensure smooth transition into Data Center.

. To this point (1 year and 1 month into the project), we have

transitioned 3 countries from local in country Citrix environment, to

centralized Data Center environment, with the Liberty International

community

. Project lead for Latin American server consistency resolution planning

. Instrumental in the migration of Citrix Application servers from 4.6.

to 6.5, both in US and also Latin America (total servers migrated in

Latin America was 45 servers and in US was around 300). This included

migrating some of the US servers to ZenDesktops.

. Packaging of new apps using Thinapp. I was also responsible for

copying all of the new packaged applications across 7 zones for end-

users.

disaster recovery plans for the Houston based Data Center

North American locations (install, configuration, maintenance, and
