PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Construction Manager for $84M F-16 bed-down program, Balad AB, Iraq.
• Provided program management responsibility for the development and implementation of fit-for-purpose
metrics on construction management projects including a $600M film production facility/chemical plant in
Xiamen, China; a $300M refinery upgrade and new construction project in Toledo, Ohio; and a $100M project
to construct a chemical production facility in Luling, Louisiana.
• Led a $20M environmental investigation including; site safety, planning and scheduling of work activities,
management of subcontractors, and interface with U.S. Army Environmental Center (client), U.S. Army
personnel (site), regulatory personnel (State and Federal), and residents in surrounding communities, as well as
internal management of reporting activities.
• Managed environmental and engineering personnel and projects globally; from approximately 45 to 65 people
in 12 countries and the US with annual revenue of approximately $15M to $18M.
• Oversaw the safety program for 400+ persons; provided environmental safety training for employees and
clients of Fluor Daniel GTI at numerous locations in the US and Australia, and developed “Environmental Awareness
Training for Construction Project Managers” for the Fluor Daniel Construction Safety Department in Greenville, SC.
• Directed onsite construction recommendations during the reconstruction of the Iraqi Military Academy –
Rustamiyah (IMAR). Interfaced with the construction contractor, NATO forces, the US Army Corps of
Engineers and was a member of the IMAR staff with responsibility for engineering/construction. Involved in
all facets of the program from funding through construction and reported to MNSTCI through AFCEC.
• Managed support systems, i.e., 30 acquisition packages for Andrews Air Force Base (AFB), approximately
$10M in restoration activities; 42 acquisition packages for Charleston AFB; approximately $8.5M in
restoration activities; 14 acquisition packages for Dover AFB; approximately $2M in restoration activities; and,
36 acquisition packages for various facilities and military installations supporting approximately $20M in
restoration account activities. Plus, managed several Firm Fixed Price AFCEC task orders, with profit/loss
responsibility.

• Managed one of the largest karst aquifer dye studies conducted in recent years. The investigation included
significant review of regional and local aquifer characteristics and chlorinated hydrocarbon migration in the
karst aquifer and its impact on the local hydrologic regime.
• Project Manager for numerous environmental projects with Petroleum (Refineries and Pipelines), Mining, Land
Development companies, and the U.S. Military in the western U.S. and Mexico. Responsibilities included
project management; report preparation and review; estimating/budgeting; scheduling of personnel,
contractors, and equipment; as well as, communication with clients.
• Directed the installation of approximately 500 groundwater monitoring wells and numerous soil borings to
conduct soil and groundwater sampling, aquifer characteristics testing, and collect other relevant environmental
data at a facility near Denver, Colorado.
