promoted to Operations Director in charge of the Rumford, Rhode Island

organization. Charged with the re-development of the Project Control

Department to facilitate training of entry level engineers in the

overall project execution process. Additionally, supported operational

aspects of major projects in Asia and the Boston Metro regions,

including project start-ups, execution issues, and new business

Achievements

. Established two Project Control Departments and trained engineers

assigned to the project on effective execution. Facilities included

Wafer Tech valued at $550 million and Amgen-Rhode Island valued at $100

million.

. Acted as Lead Manager to restructure work processes and close out 36

ongoing projects at the IBM site in Vermont with a total value of $300+

million. Successfully turned around processes and closed 22 of the 36

projects before turnover.

. Provided ongoing support for document control processes and training

while concurrently managing 7 design/build projects with a total

estimated value of $200 million. Projects included Raytheon Global

Headquarters, Schepens Eye Research Facility, Amgen Garage, Hartford

School Expansion, ATMC, Warren Avenue Office Building, and Rhode Island

Pasture Center.

. Played a key role in the start-up of a multi-million dollar

Microelectronic and Biotech project in Malaysia and Rhode Island.

Project Manager / General Manager, M&M Equipment Division

Provided leadership and direction for the construction of large

sports/entertainment facilities and a major hotel totaling more than

$90 million. Worked in close collaboration with architects, engineers,

contractors, and clients from design phase through construction and

closeout. Implemented project best practices to solve complex design,

construction and operational issues, while ensuring on-time delivery

and customer satisfaction.

Directed the turnaround of an underperforming division and

implemented strategies and plans to develop the division into an

international business unit. Held full authority and oversaw day to day

operations, program development, process redesign, sales/marketing,

budgeting, staffing, and administration. With 6 straight years of high

double digits growth and EBIT.

Achievements

. Doubled profit on a $40 million design/build contract involving the

renovation/restoration of 9 stadiums across the US to support the 1994

US World Cup Soccer event. Managed all aspects of revenue and cost
