Key Project and Selected Accomplishments
. Client: Prudential Insurance Co. - Opened a new plaza with the grand
opening of their new 28 story office building. No plans, just a
conceptual design of the plaza, no permits from the City of Chicago,
an 8.5 million dollar budget and an 11 month dead line. The project
was completed two weeks ahead of schedule and 6% under budget.
. Completed the reconstruction of Naperville City Hall and parking deck,
Naperville, IL, 3 weeks ahead of schedule which included completely
raising the 110,000 sq. ft. structural slab and beams of the parking
deck and removing and replacing the exiting foundation and wearing
slabs, while the parking deck and City Hall remained open and safe for
business.
. Northwestern Memorial Hospital Carriage House nurses' residence had
experienced structural and water damage on the 6th floor. This project
included the removal and replacement of the 6th floor swimming pool
and remodeling the remaining 2nd through 5th floors while keeping 120
nurses happy!
. Detected numerous design problems with a 278,000 sq. ft. hospital.
After replacing the original contractor, brought this project in on
time and within budget.
