Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining and repairing of heavy equipment required in the day to day

working

Conduct regular inspection and service of equipment and make necessary adjustments on

operating equipment and its controls in an acceptance manner

Manage a team of technical people engaged in operation, repair and maintenance of

equipment in a safe manner

Diagnosis of equipment breakdowns, Analysis of breakdown & estimation of maintenance

cost

Maintain fast moving parts and inventory of the required tools for the maintenance plan to

Position Held : Operation & Maintenance Engineer (From Aug 2008 to June 2011)

The job involves the Repair and Maintenance of the Heavy Equipment (Earth moving and

Asphalt), Trucks (Mercedes Benz, Hino) and Service Cars (Isuzu and Toyota). Troubleshooting of

equipment in site and levy quick remedy for repair.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for carrying out preventive and periodic maintenance by charting out the

maintenance schedule from time to time on the basis of KMR and HMR.

Responsible for carrying out the visual and mechanical inspection of heavy equipment’s,

trucks and small vehicles in accordance with quality management system in order to

minimize the breakdown at sites

Responsible for spare part management and keeping in track of spare part usage in order to

give smooth running of repair works in site.

Monitoring and directing a mechanical team in site and supply them to repair work in sites

on the important basis.

Responsible for operation works which includes transportation of equipment in site and

evaluating operators/drivers in site for performance appraisal, Documenting and

maintaining the history of equipment details regarding repair, validity of vehicle papers

etc.

Preparing weekly & monthly report of equipment repair status and cost analysis chart on

the basis of job activities carried out in workshop.

Making detailed repair plan with cost and manpower required for the commencing of

repair job.
