1. Static Data Mart (Sep'10-Till date)

Static Data Mart (SDM) is GBM's central reference database supplying

static data to a wide variety of systems both within, and external to

GBM. SDM is operated by GBM Risk and Finance Technology and acts as a

master source for Risk and Finance static data. In addition, SDM is the

GBM "golden source" for several categories of static data originating

outside of Risk and Finance. SDM also acts as the static data store for

the Single General Ledger (SGL) and holds data that is solely required to

support Finance business processes.

2. Single Book Management Hierarchy

(May'12 -Till date)

Working as a Technical Business Analyst, Single Book Management Hierarchy

is a technology program to align finance, risk and other book level

hierarchies to be maintained in golden source. This change has an impact on

many systems across the bank including front Office, Operations, Risk,

Finance and Banking. This includes managing Scope, development timelines,

testing timelines and implementation.

Technologies Used: Sybase ASE 15.0, Shell Scripting, Java, XML/XSLT/XSD,

and Menu Tool (RBS Internal Job Scheduler), Erwin tool.

My Contribution:

. Leading and coordinating a team of 2 for all Projects, Enhancements

and BAU requests of SDM.

3. Morgan Markets Ratings Load (Apr'10-Aug'10)

Till date, there was a feed (Excel sheet) which was being loaded

manually; this project is to make that feed automated. The excel sheet is

being loaded to a defined folder. That folder has been mapped with UNIX

directory and from there the file is being loaded. All the jobs for this

project are being scheduled in CA job scheduler.

4. Third Party Custodian Data Migration (Jan'10-

Apr'10)

In this migration, the third party custodian data is coming from One

system(OMNI) through flat files, that data is being BCPed into work

tables and then being loaded into database using ETL(ACD process). Then

from there, the data is being propagated into other database to use in

blotter reports. All the jobs for this project are being scheduled in CA

job scheduler.

. Requirement Gathering from higher management for Development and

Project Details:

5. NowTrac(K)-401(K) Application (Mar'08 - Dec'09)

NowTrac(k) is a surrounding application suite to the Wystar core

consisting of 23 applications. It was developed as "internal" application

which is used by business people within Wachovia network and has access

to the Wystar Databases. This application provides the interface to

multiple activities related to Cash management, Fees, Advice track,

Confirms and Plan Setup.

6. Wystar Extracts (Mar'08 -

Dec'09)

Wystar extracts are used to generate reports to update/synchronize the

system for all types of transaction and other activities related to

Plans/Participants. These are Auto triggered jobs scheduled on

daily/Weekly/Monthly/yearly basis. These extracts are also used for third

party vendors DUC/Newkirk for distribution to plan sponsor and

participants.

7. Reverse Feeds for Allegiant (Oct'08 -

Apr'09)

Reverse feeds are the regular feeds sent to Plan Sponsor consisting of

deferral changes or suspension details of participant to fund. This is

regular scheduled job from which plan sponsor keep tracks of the employee

contribution to 401(K) plan to be deducted from payroll.

8. NowTrac(k) - Advice Track Development (July'08 -

Sep'08)

and Maintenance

Advice Track is a program offered for 401k plan participants with

Wachovia, to manage their stocks better. Each participant who opts for

this program gets an advice from Morning Star Corporation for maintaining

his portfolio. In accordance with that advice Wachovia bank would invest

the balance of the participant to get the best returns possible.

The project consists of designing jobs for:

. Automating the process of Sending the investment portfolio information

to Morning start Corp.

. Receipt of Advice for the participants from Morning star side.

. Defaulting a participant into Advice track program.

9. NowTrac(k) - Reporting Development & Maintenance (Mar'08 -

June'08)

The project requires the development and maintenance of business reports.

Various departments in Wachovia retirement service personnel deal with

around 200 reports. The reports could be used for:

. Getting the demographic data of the participants

. Transactions of the entire participant or a single participant done in

a certain time frame.

. Performances of the stocks in which the deferral amounts have been

invested in.

These reports are made in Crystal reports format and ran by scheduler at

the present time. A front end also exits, which enables business users

themselves to execute any reports at anytime.

My Contribution:

. Requirement gathering from client.

. Designing and creation of reports using crystal reports tool.

. Generation of Sybase stored procedures which contain the core business

logic or tuning the procedures for better performance.

. Bug fixing of reports showing wrong data.

. Adhering to standards of coding and configuration management.

. Documentations as Technical Specifications and Impact analysis.
