It is my objective to transform my over 25 years of Law Enforcement experience and convert it

into an invaluable resource for a position within either a state, federal or local law enforcement

E XPERIENCE

1988- Present - Rensselaer County Sheriff s Office Troy, NY

Sergeant- Admin/Supervisor (2004- Present)

Solely responsible for Sheriff s Office Transportation Unit which is responsible for the scheduling

and transportation of thousands of inmates yearly. It is my responsibility to move inmates

safely to local, county, and federal courts throughout NYS and throughout the country. As

well as doctor appointments, emergency room and hospitals, funerals etc. I am responsible

for the scheduling of 13 full time staff and dozens of part time staff. I am on call 24-hours a

day-seven days a week.

Booking Sergeant Oversees Thousands of inmate Bookings per year. As the

1994-2004 Watch Commander K-9 Sergeant

It was my duties to oversee a shift of over 30 corrections officers as well as respond to

emergencies within the correctional facility and the community with my K-9 partner.

Assisted various police agencies in drug searches, tracking, building and vehicle searches,

crowd control and officer protection.

Accountable for control, training and the yearly budget for K-9 partner.

Police Officer

Duties included patrolling within the village, assisting citizens in civil and criminal

complaints. Investigation of suspicious activities and make arrests for violations of

federal, state and local laws as well as village ordinances. It was my duties to make daily

reports of activities and assist other agencies when necessary.

Corporal (Corrections Bureau) 1992-1993

My duties were to supervise Correctional Officers and to ensure that they were

performing their duties in a safe manner consistent with law. My duties were also to

schedule and maintain records and ensure compliance and discipline.

Transport Officer (Corrections Bureau) 1990-1992

My duties were to transport inmates throughout the state to all courts, prisons,

hospitals, death bed visits, funerals etc.. While in this position I also performed

admissions and discharges as well as many security positions within the county jail.
