Assistant District Attorney 2012 to present
Fulton County District Attorney's Office, Atlanta, Georgia
• Trial attorney currently assigned to the Complex Trial Division where I am responsible for prosecuting
violent felonies in the Fulton County Superior Court. I am currently assigned to Judge Shawn Ellen LaGrua's
courtroom, but have participated in jury trials as either first or second chair before ten other judges. I am
responsible for making charging decisions, preparing and serving discovery, writing and arguing motions,
bond hearings, probation revocation hearings, and jury trials. First chair trial lawyer on cases ranging from
Theft by Taking, Deposit Account Fraud, Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery, Armed Robbery,
and Kidnapping. Second chair trial lawyer on Murder, Rape, and Aggravated Child Molestation cases. Tried
over 20 felony jury trials as first or second chair.

appearance hearings; conducted multiple preliminary hearings, jail arraignment hearings, and bond
arraignment hearings; participated in pre-trial negotiations with defense counsel; took non-complex felony
pleas, conducted legal research on various criminal law issues; and worked over 220 hours in the Complaint
Room screening incoming cases, making charging decisions, creating and filing proper charging documents
